FAQ

Frequently asked.

  • How long is a Ukrainian TRP valid?

The validity depends on the legal ground and supporting documents. Many permits are issued for one year; some categories have longer terms. A permit can be exchanged before it expires if the ground continues to apply.

  • Can I work on a TRP issued for marriage or volunteering?

A TRP by itself does not automatically authorise employment. A Ukrainian employer may need a work permit unless a statutory exemption applies. Volunteer activity must match the documented volunteer ground and host organisation.

  • Do I need to be physically present in Ukraine to apply?

Yes — submission is in person at the State Migration Service, but we manage every other step including drafting, translations, and pre-submission review.

  • What happens if my TRP application is refused?

We assess the refusal grounds, advise on whether to appeal or re-file under a different basis, and act quickly so you do not fall out of legal stay.
