FAQ

Frequently asked.

  • Is PRP a path to citizenship?

PRP or an immigration permit is required for many citizenship routes, but the qualifying residence period depends on the legal ground. The general route normally requires five years of continuous permanent residence. Shorter or different periods may apply to certain applicants, including some spouses of Ukrainian citizens, recognised refugees, Foreign Ukrainians and eligible service members. Language, Constitution and Ukrainian-history requirements may also apply.

  • How long does PRP take in practice?

The statutory ceiling is six months. Well-prepared cases often resolve faster. We push for clarity at each step and surface any deficiencies before they delay you.

  • What is the investor PRP threshold?

$100,000 USD (or equivalent) invested into a Ukrainian legal entity. The contribution must be documented and traceable from a foreign source.

  • Does foreign military service in Ukraine qualify for PRP?

Some foreign service members qualify after at least one year of contractual service during martial law. The general military route also covers qualifying service of three years or more. A separate route may apply where a person was found unfit because of a qualifying service-related illness or injury. We assess the service record, contract and medical documents for the applicable route.
